This Will Destroy Me

This is my first- well, okay, I had a heart done on my foot with a homemade tattoo gun, but for now let’s put that to the side and say that this is my first tattoo. It is located on my right shoulder blade.

Skulls have always been one of my favorite things. I find it fascinating that each and every one of us has the exact same structure on the inside, and then when we all die, we will all end up the same. 

As for the headdress part of the tattoo, well, there’s not really much of a meaning behind it, but the Native American culture has always been something that I have loved. Unfortunately, I am not of that descent, but I do have a few family members that are. 

I thought that these two things together were so amazing.

I went to a place in Scotts Valley, California, called Sammy Kain’s Custom Tattooz. I though Sammy himself was going to tattoo me, but instead a guy named Jordan did. He drew this tat up for me and I loved it without even thinking about it!

He did a great job and the pain was very minimal. The price was reasonable for how wonderful he did!

I am definitely going back for my next tattoo.
